The “Sant’Anna business game”, promoted by Jebe (the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies - Pisa junior enterprise which aims at combining academic theory with the world of business) gathers 60 students of the best universities in Europe who are meeting on November 18 - 19 at Sant’Anna School, for a unique and most effective additional activity during their higher education studies. A team of executives and senior managers will support the participants in the business simulations facing the complex problems of today’s business decision making process. The selection team will eventually evaluate and select the best project proposals.

The selection of the sixty participants is open until Sunday, November 6, and has benefited from the cooperation of some of the best national and international networks; the Italian schools of advanced studies and universities, several Junior Enterprises and the Alliance of European business games were involved in the selection process. The companies participating in the event have just been announced, and include international leading enterprises, like Microsoft, Avio Aero (General Electric), Enel, RedBull and Ericsson which are all increasing the brand awareness and attracting the attention of many talented students.

The "Sant'Anna Business Game" is an ambitious project managed by Jebe junior enterprise, which has the objective of bridging the gap between academia and business. In two days, the 60 students are confronted with the real issues managers face daily. In the simulations, students have the opportunity to work as top managers, they are required to survey the market, identify and evaluate market opportunities, design and manage a business program. Participants will give evidence of possessing analytical skills and ability to work in groups, also combining critical and creative thinking skills.

"The specific elements of the 'Sant'Anna business game' create a unique event to attract international attention - says Antonello Congedo, Jebe chairman - and represent yet another success for our top university and our town - Pisa, which never stop growing, using big thinking and creativity to develop talent and merit".
